Frequently Asked Questions

1. What’s the difference between Private Sessions and Holistic Counselling?

Private yoga and qigong sessions are centred on embodied movement and regulation practices.

If you are seeking deeper emotional processing or therapeutic exploration, I recommend booking Holistic Counselling sessions. If you’re unsure which suits you, we can discuss it before booking.

2. If I book a private yoga or qigong session, will it turn into counselling?

Private sessions are centred on movement and embodied practice. Sometimes emotions or insights arise — that’s natural when working with the body.

If deeper therapeutic support is needed, we can discuss booking dedicated holistic counselling sessions separately.

3. I’m not flexible / I’ve never done yoga or qigong. Is this for me?

Yes. This work is not about performance or advanced poses. It’s about awareness, nervous system regulation, and sustainable movement. Everything is adapted to your level and needs.

4. What kinds of issues do people come to you for?

People often come with:

  • stress and burnout
  • emotional overwhelm
  • tension or chronic tightness
  • life transitions
  • feeling disconnected from their body
  • wanting a slower, more grounded way to work on themselves

5. How do I know which session to book?

If your primary goal is:

  • physical ease, posture, breath, resilience → book a Private Session
  • emotional processing, patterns, deeper personal exploration → book Holistic Counselling

If you’re unsure, you’re welcome to contact me before booking.
