I wanted to share my experience of Qi Jong with Hsin. I have been attending these classes for about two years and from the start loved the connection with my inner self and the sense of mental alertness the classes brought to me. Hsin has always mentioned about connecting to our qi, our energy. During the classes I have been able to activate my qi and felt the tingling sensations especially in my hands when holding my energy ball. With practice, the intention is that after activating your qi your hands should be able to lift on their own, no effort. During the past 3 weeks in class I have found my hands and arms lifting of their own accord. So much so that last week my hands lifted to shoulder height on their own, with no effort from me! The energy was radiating from my arms, as if they were magnets picking up small nails. It was such an intense sense of connection and weightlessness in my body. I can’t wait for the next class! To anyone wanting to try it, I would say do. Keep practicing and see how your qi manifests itself in your body over time.

Hsin’s yoga classes are small and friendly groups. We receive so much of her skillful and individual care and attention to alignment , breathwork, flow and pose. A theme is often woven through each class . Hsin encourages us to be honest with ourselves and our bodies and through this our practice grows and deepens. Her teaching is about so much more than yoga on the mat. We can take what we discover about ourselves out into our daily lives and beyond.

I have been doing yoga classes with Hsin for over 8 years now. Each session is throughly planned to suit the needs of the class and She always sets theme . We always start our class with Qi Qong / tai Chi . Hsin brings elements of somatic healing in our class so we can regulate our nervous systems and slow down from a busy daily lives .

Hsin offers private Reiki sessions and counselling . I have benefitted massively from having these sessions my depression is better and I don’t feel as lost . I feel sense of calm at Hsin studio. No judgement. This new way of counselling using yoga , reiki and talking therapy has been difficult emotionally but I believe it really helped unblock trapped emotions and helped me feel a sense of relief and release.

This is not your normal counselling session . Our talks have led me to see where I need to love myself more and my inner child so I can heal .

I came to the Reiki session with open minded and no sense of what might happen. Hsin asked me to set my intentions. I feel sense of calm at Hsin studio. No judgement. We begin lying down and Hsin asks me to take some deep breaths and she begins . During the session I feel an out body connection which is hard to describe apart from my hands feel disconnected. I feel the heat above my forehead, above the right side of my brain. With my eyes shut I see Colours like I am a child looking through a kaleidoscope, but feeling a deep sense of relaxation floating in and out. Hsin very calmly let me know it’s finished. The next few days I feel a sense of high energy but also a crash. This was a new but amazing experience & I believe it really helped unblock and help me feel a sense of relief and release.

“I participated to the summers solstice workshop with Hsin last Saturday. I have no words to explain how precious was for me. I have been feeling the desire to see Hsin for months, I live in Birmingham at the moment and I met Hsin years ago in London. I knew deep inside I had to come and see her. The restorative yoga workshop was amazing, my body was full of energy and peace at the end and I was able to keep that feeling inside for about 2 days. I felt everything was aligned inside me and my overthinking brain was finally focusing just on simple thoughts. I cannot be more grateful and I still keep the memory of that feeling inside me. If you’ve tried yoga in the past, like me, and never really understood the benefits because of poor teaching, crowded classes or you just “didn’t get it” I really urge you to take some classes with Hsin.  She is an amazing teacher and her approach to healing both mind and body works wonders.  I have practiced with her for a year now and the benefits just keep on coming.  I am conquering back and neck pain, strengthening muscles and finally understanding what mindfulness really means.  Yes, you have to concentrate and work at it, but whatever fitness level you are at, Hsin will gently ease you into the poses and never allow you to push your body further than it wants to go.

I’ve been practicing yoga on and off for the last ten years. It was only when I started taking Hsin’s class six months ago that I began craving a commitment to yoga and seeing it as much more than a way to exercise and gain flexibility. Recently, I booked a private lesson with Hsin as a birthday treat. I appreciated how much she was able to tailor the lesson to my preferences, and really work with me on proper alignment and engagement, which are skills I will be able to use in my home practice. I am living in Taiwan. I normally do not sleep well during the night after a fall where I broke my ribs. I was waiting for a shoulder operation at that time. I came to Hsin because of my daughter. I do not know about Reiki, I was in a lot of pain and finding it difficult to move around so I decided to just give it a go. Unexpectedly, after the distance healing, I have had my best sleeping night ever. Furthermore, Hsin can sense exactly which parts of the ribs that I broke and even my old injury to my ankles. She can even sense my deep emotions. I have done Reiki a few times now with Hsin. She senses my personality through healing without me telling her, my pain was reduced and my ribs reovered quickly. I was very impressed with Hsin’s Reiki distance healing.

I am living in Taiwan. I normally do not sleep well during the night after a fall where I broke my ribs. I was waiting for a shoulder operation at that time. I came to Hsin because of my daughter. I do not know about Reiki, I was in a lot of pain and finding it difficult to move around so I decided to just give it a go. Unexpectedly, after the distance healing, I have had my best sleeping night ever. Furthermore, Hsin can sense exactly which parts of the ribs that I broke and even my old injury to my ankles. She can even sense my deep emotions. I have done Reiki a few times now with Hsin. She senses my personality through healing without me telling her, my pain was reduced and my ribs reovered quickly. I was very impressed with Hsin’s Reiki distance healing.

I have been doing yoga classes with Hsin for over 8 years now. Each session is throughly planned to suit the needs of the class and She always sets theme . We always start our class with Qi Qong / tai Chi . Hsin brings elements of somatic healing in our class so we can regulate our nervous systems and slow down from a busy daily lives .

Hsin offers private Reiki sessions and counselling . I have benefitted massively from having these sessions my depression is better and I don’t feel as lost . I feel sense of calm at Hsin studio. I came to the Reiki session with open minded and no sense of what might happen. Hsin asked me to set my intentions. I feel sense of calm at Hsin studio. No judgement. We begin lying down and Hsin asks me to take some deep breaths and she begins . During the session I feel an out body connection which is hard to describe apart from my hands feel disconnected. I feel the heat above my forehead, above the right side of my brain. With my eyes shut I see Colours like I am a child looking through a kaleidoscope, but feeling a deep sense of relaxation floating in and out. Hsin very calmly let me know it’s finished. The next few days I feel a sense of high energy but also a crash. This was a new but amazing experience & I believe it really helped unblock and help me feel a sense of relief and release.

I am living in Taiwan. I normally do not sleep well during the night after a fall where I broke my ribs. I was waiting for a shoulder operation at that time. I came to Hsin because of my daughter. I do not know about Reiki, I was in a lot of pain and finding it difficult to move around so I decided to just give it a go. Unexpectedly, after the distance healing, I have had my best sleeping night ever. Furthermore, Hsin can sense exactly which parts of the ribs that I broke and even my old injury to my ankles. She can even sense my deep emotions. I have done Reiki a few times now with Hsin. She senses my personality through healing without me telling her, my pain was reduced and my ribs reovered quickly. I have been doing yoga classes with Hsin for over 8 years now. Each session is throughly planned to suit the needs of the class and She always sets theme . We always start our class with Qi Qong / tai Chi . Hsin brings elements of somatic healing in our class so we can regulate our nervous systems and slow down from a busy daily lives .

Hsin offers private Reiki sessions and counselling . I have benefitted massively from having these sessions my depression is better and I don’t feel as lost . I feel sense of calm at Hsin studio. No judgement. This new way of counselling using yoga , reiki and talking therapy has been difficult emotionally but I believe it really helped unblock trapped emotions and helped me feel a sense of relief and release.

I came to the Reiki session with open minded and no sense of what might happen. Hsin asked me to set my intentions. I feel sense of calm at Hsin studio. No judgement. We begin lying down and Hsin asks me to take some deep breaths and she begins . During the session I feel an out body connection which is hard to describe apart from my hands feel disconnected. I feel the heat above my forehead, above the right side of my brain. With my eyes shut I see Colours like I am a child looking through a kaleidoscope, but feeling a deep sense of relaxation floating in and out. Hsin very calmly let me know it’s finished. The next few days I feel a sense of high energy but also a crash. This was a new but amazing experience & I believe it really helped unblock and help me feel a sense of relief and release.

I’ve practiced yoga for more than twenty-five years. I can honestly say Hsin is one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. I can already feel an improvement in my flexibility, posture, strength and muscle tone. Hsin’s approach is to stress the importance of doing the little things well, and creating a solid foundation to build upon. Her classes are carefully tailored so all participants can benefit from them—a welcome change to many overcrowded classes offered at leisure centres where less able students are left to their own devices and expected to keep up with everyone else. The body will feel wonderfully stretched, but this is gained safely without the muscle tear and strain that more vigorous styles of aerobic yoga tend to cause.

I’ve been practicing yoga on and off for the last ten years. It was only when I started taking Hsin’s class six months ago that I began craving a commitment to yoga and seeing it as much more than a way to exercise and gain flexibility. Recently, I booked a private lesson with Hsin as a birthday treat. I am living in Taiwan. I normally do not sleep well during the night after a fall where I broke my ribs. I was waiting for a shoulder operation at that time. I came to Hsin because of my daughter. I do not know about Reiki, I was in a lot of pain and finding it difficult to move around so I decided to just give it a go. Unexpectedly, after the distance healing, I have had my best sleeping night ever. Furthermore, Hsin can sense exactly which parts of the ribs that I broke and even my old injury to my ankles. She can even sense my deep emotions. I have done Reiki a few times now with Hsin. She senses my personality through healing without me telling her, my pain was reduced and my ribs reovered quickly. I was very impressed with Hsin’s Reiki distance healing.
